जय चित्रगुप्त देवा, प्रभु जय चित्रगुप्त देवा। ब्रह्मा के मानस पुत्र, तुमको नमन मेरा॥
Transliteration
Jai Chitragupta Deva, Prabhu Jai Chitragupta Deva. Brahma ke maanas putra, tumko naman mera.

Victory to Lord Chitragupta, Lord Chitragupta, Victory to you. O son born from the mind of Lord Brahma, I bow to you.

कर्मों का लेखा रखते, न्याय के तुम राजा। पाप और पुण्य का, करते तुम लेखा॥
Transliteration
Karmon ka lekha rakhte, nyaay ke tum raja. Paap aur punya ka, karte tum lekha.

You keep the records of all deeds, you are the King of Justice. You meticulously account for every sin and every virtue.
