अंग्रेजों के शासन में, वीरों ने ललकार दी। बिरसा की हुंकार से, दुनिया को दी चेतावनी दी। मिट्टी की रक्षा को, उन्होंने जान गँवाई है। आदिवासी स्वाभिमान की, नई अलख जगाई है।
Transliteration
Angrezon ke shasan mein, veeron ne lalkar di. Birsa ki hunkar se, duniya ko di chetawani di. Mitti ki raksha ko, unhone jaan ganwayi hai. Adivasi swabhiman ki, nayi alakh jagayi hai.
Meaning / Translation
Under British rule, the brave ones raised their voices of defiance. With Birsa's roar, a warning was given to the world. To protect our soil, they sacrificed their lives. They ignited a new flame of Adivasi self-respect.

धरती आबा कहलाए वो, सबका मान बढ़ाया है। आदिवासी संस्कृति को, सीने से लगाया है। पहाड़ों की गूँज में, उनका नाम बसा है। हर आदिवासी के दिल में, उनका ही वास है।
Transliteration
Dharti Aba kehlaye wo, sabka maan badhaya hai. Adivasi sanskriti ko, seene se lagaya hai. Pahadon ki goonj mein, unka naam basa hai. Har Adivasi ke dil mein, unka hi vaas hai.

He was called 'Dharti Aba' (Father of Earth), increasing everyone's honor. He held the Adivasi culture close to his heart. His name resides in the echoes of the mountains. He lives within the heart of every Adivasi.
