Kamika Ekadashi Stuti and Mantra

Transliteration

Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya.

Meaning / Translation

I bow to the Lord who dwells in all hearts (Vasudeva).

Transliteration

Shantakaram Bhujagashayanam Padmanabham Suresham, Vishvadharam Gaganasadrusham Meghavarnam Shubhangam। Lakshmikantam Kamalanayanam Yogibhirdhyanagamyam, Vande Vishnum Bhavabhayaharam Sarvalokaikanatham॥

Meaning / Translation

I bow to Lord Vishnu, who has a peaceful countenance, who rests on a serpent, from whose navel springs the lotus, and who is the Lord of all gods. He who supports the universe, who is as vast as the sky, who has the color of dark clouds, and possesses beautiful limbs. He who is the beloved of Lakshmi, whose eyes are like lotuses, who is attained by yogis through meditation, and who destroys the fear of worldly existence, the sole Lord of all worlds.

Transliteration

Kamika Ekadashi vrata mahima, sarva papa vinashanam। Vishnu priti pradayakam, moksha marga prashastam॥

Meaning / Translation

The glory of the Kamika Ekadashi fast is the destruction of all sins. It bestows the grace of Lord Vishnu and paves the path toward ultimate liberation (Moksha).
