Parshurama

Also known as: Bhargava, Jamadagni, Rama Bhargava, Rama Jamadagnya

Parshurama is the sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu and is known for his role in ridding the world of the warrior caste, or Kshatriyas, who had become corrupt and oppressive. He is often depicted as a fierce warrior with an axe, which is his primary weapon.
